arvato digital services to manage physical fulfillment for the direct-to-fan merchandising business of Warner Music Europe

Gütersloh, Germany, 12 July 2010 — arvato digital services, the integrated solutions and service provider in the video, audio, video game and IT/high-tech sectors, today announced that is has been selected to manage the direct-to-fan fulfillment for Warner Music Europe’s merchandising and physical product.

Arvato digital services has now established itself in the direct-to-consumer (D2C) media industry. Already well established as a flexible service provider to the audio industry for many years, arvato digital services has continuously adapted its product and service portfolio to meet the growing needs of music labels.

The Warner Music Europe merchandising business is comprised of thousands of different products which are shipped to music fans around the world. Consumers can order the items through more than 100 different web shops, which market products from a range of global superstars and up and coming talent.

“Thousands of items are stored at arvato digital services and if they are ordered before 1pm they can be packed immediately and sent out the same day,” said Sven Deutschmann.
