arvato digital services enters into strategic partnership with Caxton CTP Limited in South Africa

Gütersloh, July 14, 2010 –  arvato digital services has transferred its location in South Africa to Caxton CTP Limited.

As part of the ongoing market consolidation in the data carrier business, arvato digital services has been looking for a local partner for its replication business in Kya Sand near Johannesburg and has found one in Caxton CTP Limited. Caxton CTP Limited is one of the leading publishing houses in South Africa with over 5,500 employees and operates its own print companies for newspapers, books and magazines. It will continue to run the business at the location and expand it over the long term. Under a multi-year cooperation agreement signed by the two partners, all employees will be transferred to the new business operation. arvato digital services will work closely with Caxton CTP Limited and shall continue to guarantee the highest standards of technical support. Completion of the transaction is still subject to the fulfillment of certain suspensive conditions.

arvato digital services founded its replication business in South Africa in 1997 and it has been run by managing director Alan Tomlinson since that time.
