Lithorade BV takes over paper printing activities of arvato digital services France
Forbach, September 1, 2009 – Lithorade BV announced today that it has taken over all paper print activities from arvato digital services in Forbach, France, as of today. With the acquisition, Lithorade BV, seated in Uden, Netherlands, follows its strategy of growth on the European market.
As a modern printing company, the newly founded company Lithorade BV Forbach is focused on the paper print market for DVDs and CDs. Norbert Koop and Wim Hieltjes, CEO’s (joint owners) of Lithorade, state: “On the media market Lithorade stands for high quality and short lead times that are vital to the industry. Together with the headquarter in Uden, we will expand our customer base and guarantee maximum flexibility”.

Sven Deutschmann, CEO arvato digital services EMEA, adds: “In Germany we have already concentrated our printing activities on cardboard products and so the sale of our printing activities in France, where we have only printed paper products as booklets, has been a strategic consequence. We are pleased to have found a competent partner who will take over the business and also all the employees that are highly skilled and have worked for us for many years”. On that basis both companies have signed a long-term agreement that shall enhance their partnership.
