CD Audio

DVD Audio
“High-enders” are not the only ones sold on the sound experience of audio DVDs.  The excellent audio digitization quality (PCM) extends to 192 kHz/24bit (stereo) or 96 kHz/16bit for multichannel sound (compared to CD audio: 44.1 kHz/16bit). Thus, the audio quality of DVD audio far outperforms the possibilities of audio CD or even video DVD. In addition, menu boxes, fixed images and title-text boxes can be included on the audio DVD. This makes it possible to navigate by titles, as people are used to doing on video DVDs.
