Super Audio CD

The introduction of the Super Audio CD (SACD) by Philips and Sony is the result of technical innovations and quantum leaps in the area of recording technology, data compression, storage and laser technology of optical storage media. SACD also ensures compatibility with existing CD media and players. For users who do not yet have SACD equipment, this guarantees that their devices will retain their value. First and foremost, this ensures that SACDs can be used in mobile devices (cars, portable devices). High enders are not the only ones sold on the sound experience of SACDs. Therefore, the SACD offers growth potential for the music industry.

We generally accept all common studio formats as input media for production of an SACD.

Analog output material is suitable for conversion to the DSD format (SACD layer). If the customer would like to supply digital material for conversion, storage on DLT, AIT or U-matic tape is suitable.
