arvato digital services signs global direct to consumer deal with Ministry of Sound

Gütersloh, April 13, 2010 – The international media services company arvato digital services has announced that it has signed a global fulfillment deal with Ministry of Sound.

Ministry of Sound Group comprises the world’s largest independent record label, the world’s most famous nightclub and is home to the world’s most recognisable and iconic dance brands including, of course, Ministry of Sound plus Hed Kandi, Global Underground, Euphoria and Dance Nation. The group has an online presence through www.ministryofsound.com, www.hedkandi.com and other branded sites, and sells a range of CDs, DVDs, downloads and merchandise to fans across the world.

Ministry of Sound has signed a contract with arvato digital services to act as their fulfillment partner in the direct-to-consumer (D2C) business. Sven Deutschmann, CEO arvato digital services EMEA, was delighted to have been chosen by Ministry of Sound and said “We have signed a contract with Ministry of Sound, comprising all back end fulfillment services from warehousing, to order picking and packing, to reporting and shipping globally. This is done from our facility in Birmingham that has ten years experience and expertise in fulfillment projects, special packaging and more recently the direct to consumer business”.
