arvato digital services invests in Blu-ray
Expanded Blu-ray capacities and mastering at Gütersloh facility
Gütersloh, October 14, 2008. Just in time for the start of this year’s peak season, arvato digital services is announcing the expansion of its Blu ray capacities to include an additional machine. As of last week, the international media services provider also offers complete Blu ray mastering at its Gütersloh headquarters and will serve the entire European market from there.
“We established our mastering capability for the Blu ray Disc in Gütersloh with the utmost speed and professionalism and have been ready for production since the beginning of October. We’ve already processed our first orders and are confident of our ability to serve all European clients on time and with great flexibility. We created more than 40 masters in the first week and shipped them out to the satisfaction of our customers,” says Sven Deutschmann, CEO arvato digital services Manufacturing EMEA. The American market is served from our facility in Weaverville, North Carolina.
The investment in mastering and an additional Blu ray machine puts arvato digital services among the leading international service providers for Blu ray. In addition to replication of the high-resolution format, arvato digital services also offers all other production steps in the creation of Blu ray Discs, including project management, HD video and audio post-production, graphic design, encoding and authoring.
