Describe your educational background. Where did you study, what degrees did you receive?

Before beginning my career I received a Business degree from Greenville Technical College.  While working on this degree I took various legal classes, i.e. Business Law, Workers Comp, Criminal Law, Torts, etc. that enabled me to complete my degree with a major in Paralegal.
Since coming to arvato I have received a Green Belt Certification in Lean Six Sigma

Describe your career history. What have been your professional experiences prior to your current position?

Before joining Bertelsmann I was the Evening Manager for Southeast Frozen Foods, L.P., which is the largest exclusive distributor of frozen food products in the Southeastern United States.  The company has five warehouse facilities with 600,000 square feet of space.

What are your current roles and responsibilities?

I currently hold the position of Operations Manager at the Duncan campus and report to the Vice President of Operations. I am responsible for all operations located in the #112 building and the #290 building.

What attracted you to your company and position? What is your favorite thing about your job?

Bertelsmann was highly recommended by other professionals in the area.  I was looking for a change in industry and felt like this would be a great opportunity for me. The thing I enjoy most about my job is the people. The interaction with the customers as well as the employees makes my job very interesting as well as challenging.

What has been your most memorable moment (so far) in your job?

I would say that my most memorable moment would be when I joined the #112 operation.  At that time that meant that I had worked on every account in the Duncan footprint.

If you could meet anyone from history, living or dead, who would it be?

My favorite spot in the world:

Home. I always love to travel and explore new places but it is always nice to be home with the people you care the most about.

What qualities do you feel are necessary to be a successful employee at your company?

Integrity, dedication, determination, passion, and the ability to adjust to change are very important while working for arvato and in every day life.

My favorite book, movie and artist are…

I have a couple favorite books related to business.  Winning by Jack Welch and The Elegant Solution by Matthew May.  From a recreational reading aspect I love Dean Koontz and James Patterson.
